How long and how much will my pups groom cost?
How long it takes and how much it costs vary based on the individual session and what work is required to fulfill the groom requested.
Each pup is allotted their own time slot. The amount of time required to finish a groom depends on the coat condition, pups' health & behavior, size of pup, and desired cut.
Please do not call/text to check-in.
We are working to provide a safe and comfortable environment & service at the safest and most effective pace possible, with minimal disruptions to the process.

What type of payment do you accept?

Do you groom senior pups?
Yes. They must be up to date with rabies shots. There will be an additional handling fee applied to their groom depending on how well they tolerate parts of the groom. It could be just for additional time spent.
Do you provide end of life grooms?
No.
Do you groom sedated pups?
No, we don't groom sedated pups.
Do you groom aggressive pups?
No aggressive pups. If there is a part of the body during the groom that the pup is not happy with and is fussy, we need to know so we can be prepared. If the pup shows aggression or continuously struggling, urinating or defecating during the grooming process the groom will end and you will be charged full price for the service.
Do you have late afternoon appointments available?
No, we have mornings and just a couple early afternoon appointments available because of thunderstorms. We strongly encourage you to book your next appointment at the end of your groom because time slots are limited.
Do I have to be on a regular grooming schedule?
YES, we require our pups to be on a 4, 6, or 8 week schedule. Long haired and short haired. Many pups get matted and dirty, which can cause skin infections and other issues as well as issues with their ears. Nails which get to long make walking and running difficult and painful. Long nails can cause arthritis and micro fractures to their toes. Nails left untrimmed for long periods of time can curl under and actually grow into the pads of the pups' feet. Pups that are not on a schedule make my tools work harder and it's also more stressful for the pup. Not staying on schedule makes it difficult to time the groom because of not knowing the condition of the coat upon arrival.
Frequent grooming is a lifelong commitment when adding a pup to the family. We want them to be comfortable and have a positive experience. If they are constantly being de-matted or shaved down they probably won't be super happy to see us and that is the last thing we want for them. If you choose to go longer than 8 weeks for a full groom, there will be an additional charge per week depending on coat condition, time it takes to complete and amount of products used.
Can I get pricing over the phone?
NO. We do not give pricing over the phone. There are starting prices on the service page. Many factors go into the total cost of a groom including the size and breed of your pup, temperament of pup, condition of the coat, last time your pup was groomed and style of haircut desired. All prices are estimates until groom is completed. Please click contact at top of this page and fill out questions and contact information. Make sure you upload or email a CURRENT profile photo of your pup standing from head to tail please. We will review and reply within 48 hours.

If you are a new client, please click on the contact link at the top of this page and fill out all questions and information. Please upload or email a CURRENT profile photo of your pup standing from head to tail and keep in mind that we need a copy of up-to-date rabies and vaccine records from your vet and most current weight before an appointment is made. (Full groom pups under 60lbs and bath/de-shed only pups under 90lbs) You will also need to sign and email Summer Dayz Paw Spa's policies and procedures before an appointment can be made. Why is mobile grooming more expensive than Salon?
Mobile grooming is a luxury service that focuses on quality not quantity. We provide full-service grooming salon right to your driveway and your pup receives a one-on-one spa service. We only use professional products tailored to your pups' coat and skin type, your pup never spends time in a crate and your pup can see home from the spa's window, so they stay relaxed!
It's also convenient and you save time and gas! No stress! These are just a few reasons.
Do you sanitize between pups?
Absolutely! Upon completion of every service, we sanitize tables, tub, tools and grooming area. Each night we use Tool Klean Anti-Microbial UVC Light Room Sanitizer for maintaining a clean, safe pathogen free grooming area!
How can I get in touch with you?
Thank you for your interest in Summer Dayz Paw Spa! We most likely are grooming a pup or driving to an appointment. Please click the contact tab at the top of this page, text us at 407-988-0707, or email us at summerdayzpawspa@gmail.com. Please allow 48 hours for a response.
Do you use our water and electricity?
Summer Dayz Paw Spa Luxury Mobile Van is fully self-contained with plenty of fresh warm and cold water, has an inverter system and an on-board quiet Onan generator. Similar to an RV set up. IF for some reason the generator ever were to fail, we do have shorelines to plug into the home to finish the groom.
Can I watch you groom my pup?
Short answer is no. Due to our insurance it is not allowed, and pups tend to behave much better and are calmer when their owners are not present. They can get very excited when seeing their owners and that increases risk of injury to pup or groomer. Please, we ask that you and/or your children not be near the van during the grooming process. Thank you for understanding.
MY dog has short hair. Does it really need regular grooming?
YES, YES, and YES! Short haired pups need regular nail trimming, ear cleaning and bath/brushing to keep healthy skin and nails. We recommend every 4-6 weeks.
Why don't you service my area?
To provide the very best service to our clients and spend more time grooming and less time driving we limit the service area to 10 miles from the Conway area. There will be an additional fee if you live outside the service area.
